Who was eligible for funding?

Funding Streams
Applications were available through two distinct funding streams:

Funding Stream One: Building Partnerships (up to $10,000)
The purpose of this funding stream was to enable, multi-service agencies to access funds to partner with / provide service to existing smaller Family Resource Programs.  Funded programs include parenting workshops, part-time drop-in staff person, Parent-Child Mother Goose Program, nutrition education, etc.  The purpose was to build capacity in the smaller FRP with the hope of creating a long-term collaboration and mentorship providing mutual benefits.

Funding Stream Two: Rural Family Resource Programs
(up to $20,000)
The purpose of this funding stream was to support Family Resource Programs located in isolated communities (primarily in the Northern, Interior and parts of Vancouver Island Regions). This funding stream enabled rural and isolated Family Resource Programs, located in towns with a population base under 25,000, to access funds to enhance the quality of their service delivery.
