Guildford Family Place

Guildford Family Place is a community neighborhood house that provides services for parents, caregivers and children from all cultures. Parents and caregivers find support and have access to resources and learning activities. Our comfortable home environment allows for socializing and a chance to share experiences, information and ideas.

Our play areas for children provide opportunities to learn and share in a safe and fun environment. We maintain an assortment of quality toys and offer free and structured play times/activities. Guildford’s indoor playroom is bright and colourful, designed to stimulate infants and young children. Our beautiful back yard includes a sandbox, riding toys, water table and much more. We provide a simple, nutritious lunch and have parent potluck activities plus a “Lunch for a Loonie” days.

Parenting programs offered throughout the year include: Coping with Toddler Behavior, Nobody’s Perfect Parenting, Triple P, Right from the Start, Parent/Child Mother Goose.
