Family Resource Programs
Chilliwack Community Services
The city of Chilliwack is host to six Family Resource Programs. Located in central locations, Downtown Family Place and Sardis Family Place are staffed and operate five days per week. Located in rural locations, the Broadway, Greendale, Kekinow and Yarrow Family Places are volunteer run - open 1-2 mornings a week. Each site has its own unique characteristics and flavour, matching the diverse community it represents.
Services and programming offered through the downtown site include parenting, pre-natal nutrition, and family literacy programs. The site also hosts weekly lunches, clothing exchange, information and referral services, field trips, and summer programming for families.
